Who We Are
Smoky Mountain Shine's ultimate goal is getting athletes to participate at the collegiate level. Here are some of the many Shine Alumni that went on to further their academic and athletic career in college.
Shine Athlete for 4 Years & Cofounder
Meaghan Doyle
Meaghan went on to play for the first team at Lee University. "I played shine because it gave me the opportunity to expand my playing abilities outside of normal lacrosse season."
Shine athlete for 5 Years
Ryann Doyle
Ryann went on to play at Presbyterian College and is now getting her masters in business while playing at Lincoln Memorial University. "Shine is a great way to get out and play lacrosse with your friends from school or meet and make new friends as well. It's a way you're able to enjoy yourself and get better throughout the summer."
Shine athlete for 4 Years
Mckenzie Cates
Mckenzie went on to play at Presbyterian college. She is now a transfer at Lincoln Memorial University. "Shine allowed me to make lifelong friends with girls across TN. I was able to get connected with many college coaches and further my lacrosse IQ playing for Shine.
Shine athlete for 3 Years
Emma Bailey
Emma went on to play at Lee University. "Shine was a great way to get more reps in the summer and really helped develop my skill set so I can further my lacrosse career in college."

Delaney Duck
Delaney went on to play at Lincoln Memorial University where she was awarded Newcomer of the year, 3rd team all conference, and preseason 2nd team all conference. "During shine I was able to travel and make memories with my teammates that ill never forget. It was a great way to start my recruiting journey and just lots of fun!"

Haven Bounds
Haven went on to play at Mars Hill University where she was awarded the Iron Lion award. "Shine was a really fun experience to get to play with all kinds of different girls in our area."

Sam Billingsley
Sam went on to play at Lincoln Memorial University where she is now a dual sport athlete. "Shine allowed me to increase my Lacrosse IQ and develop communication skills on and off the field. Shine gave me the opportunity to expand my physical capabilities by showing me that putting in extra work will make a successful player."
Shine Athlete for 4 Years
Mackenzie Sherrod
Mackenzie went on to play at Tennessee Wesleyan University where she led the team with 32 goals and 11 free position goals. Transferred to Tusculum University. "Shine really helped me learn composure and how important it is to come together when we were down in a game. The tournaments also exposed me to many college recruiters that helped me make connections with coaches so when it was time to transfer I had plenty of resources to tap into to get to where I wanted to go."

Kayla Harrington
Kayla went on to play at Lincoln Memorial University. "Shine has given me so many opportunities to grow as a lacrosse player and a deeper passion for the sport. I have learned and benefited immensely from this team by playing in tournaments and always receiving help by coaches in practices. It exposed me to the different levels of game play which has helped improve my lacrosse IQ. I have made life long friends through this sport and I'm glad to say that other players can say the same."

Jolee Davis
Jolee went on to play at Lee University where she was ranked 36th in the nation for assists. Transferred to Lincoln Memorial University to finish out her Junior and Senior year. "Shine really helped me blossom as a player and grow in my game as well as helped me build chemistry with players. One of the biggest improvement of playing summer ball was how much my lacrosse IQ grew from going to different tournaments and getting so much exposure to different players and different playing styles."
